RACE REPORT FROM DYLAN PETERSON

DNC 2026  What a week from start to finish. Definitely one of those races with a lot of highs and a few tough moments, but overall I couldn’t be more grateful for how it all played out. We had a bit of a rocky start early in the week with seeding and qualifying, just trying to find a comfortable balance in the cars and get everything dialed, but we stayed patient, kept making changes, and trusted the process. By the time mains came around, everything was finally coming together and the confidence was there.

Nitro truck was absolutely incredible all weekend. The truck felt locked in every run and I was able to push it hard when it counted. The main was a long 30 minutes, but we stayed clean, consistent, and made it happen, coming away with the win which I’m beyond stoked on  Definitely one of those races I’ll remember for a long time.

Ebuggy was another solid result. Had to fight for it the whole way, battled through traffic and stayed consistent, and was able to bring it home P3  Felt really good to be up there on the podium after how competitive the class was all week.

Nitro buggy unfortunately didn’t go our way. The car felt really good going into the main and I was ready to put in a strong run, but an unlucky mechanical issue cut the race short. It’s always frustrating when that happens, especially when you know you had the pace, but that’s just part of racing. We’ll take the positives, learn from it, and come back stronger next time.

Really proud of the effort all week and how we kept pushing no matter what was thrown at us. Learned a lot and gained more confidence.
